Naldecon Indications
Naldecon is indicated to relief of symptoms of allergies such as:
- Hives;
- Itching eyes;
- Rash;
- Runny nose;
- Sneezing;
- Watery eyes;
Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
Naldecon Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Blurred vision;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Dry mouth and nose;
- Headache;
- Irritability;
- Loss of appetite;
- Restlessness;
- Stomach upset;
If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the medication.
Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs.
May cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position.
Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness.
Notify your doctor if you develop:
- Breathing difficulties;
- Chest pain;
- Difficulty urinating;
- Heart pounding;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Ringing in the ears;
Naldecon Contraindications
Naldecon is contraindicated if you have:
- An overactive thyroid gland;
- An ulcer;
- Asthma;
- Difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland;
- Glaucoma;
- Heart disease;
- High blood pressure;
- Seizures;
Naldecon Drug Reactions
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Depression;
- Furazolidone;
- MAO inhibitor;
- Medication for high blood pressure;
- Muscle relaxants;
- Narcotic pain medication;
- Other cold or allergy medication;
- Phenelzine;
- Sedatives;
- Seizures;
- Selegiline;
- Sleeping pills;
- Tranquilizers;
- Tranylcypromine;
