Cycofed Indications

Cycofed is indicated for the temporary relief of cough and congestion caused by infections such as:
- Allergies;
- Bronchitis;
- Flu;
- Hay fever;
- Sinusitis;
- The common cold;

Cycofed Overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Hallucinations;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Seizures;
- Slow/fast/irregular heartbeat;
- Slow/shallow breathing;

Cycofed Side Effects

Side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction to this drug;
- Chest pain;
- Constipation;
- Difficult/painful urination;
- Difficulty staying awake;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Dry mouth;
- Headache;
- Hives;
- Itching;
- Lightheadedness;
- Mental/mood changes (agitation confusion restlessness);
- Nausea;
- Nervousness;
- Rash;
- Seizures;
- Severe dizziness;
- Severe dizziness/fainting;
- Severe stomach/abdominal pain;
- Shakiness (tremor);
- Slow/fast/irregular/pounding heartbeat;
- Slow/shallow breathing;
- Swelling;
- Trouble breathing;
- Trouble sleeping;
- Vision changes;

Cycofed Drug Reactions

Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Anticholinergics (belladonna alkaloids benztropine);
- Anti-seizure drugs (carbamazepine);
- Beta blockers;
- Certain antihistamines (diphenhydramine);
- Certain medications to treat high blood pressure;
- Cimetidine;
- Digoxin;
- Furazolidone;
- Guanethidine;
- Isocarboxazid;
- Linezolid;
- MAO inhibitors;
- Mecamylamine;
- Medicine for sleep/anxiety (alprazolam diazepam zolpidem);
- Methyldopa;
- Migraine medications (ergotamine);
- Moclobemide;
- Muscle relaxants;
- Narcotic antagonists (naltrexone naloxone);
- Narcotic pain relievers (hydrocodone);
- Other decongestants/stimulants (phenylephrine ephedra/ma huang);
- Other narcotic medications (narcotic agonists/antagonists such as butorphanol/nalbuphine);
- Phenelzine;
- Procarbazine;
- Propranolol;
- Psychiatric medicines (chlorpromazine risperidone amitriptyline trazodone);
