Codafed Indications

Codafed is indicated to:
- Chest congestion;
- Temporarily treat cough;
- Stuffy nose symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, or other breathing illnesses (sinusitis, bronchitis).

Codafed Overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Cold/clammy skin;
- Confusion;
- Fast/slow/irregular heartbeat;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Seizures;
- Slow/shallow breathing;

Codafed Side Effects

Side effects may include:
- Constipation;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Fast/slow/irregular heartbeat;
- Headache;
- Itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat);
- Mental/mood changes (confusion hallucinations);
- Nausea;
- Nervousness;
- Rash;
- Seizure;
- Severe dizziness;
- Shaking (tremors);
- Slow/shallow breathing;
- Trouble breathing;
- Trouble sleeping;
- Trouble urinating;
- Upset stomach;
- Weakness;

Codafed Drug Reactions

Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Anti-seizure drugs (carbamazepine);
- Beta blockers (metoprolol atenolol);
- Certain antihistamines (diphenhydramine);
- Certain inhaled anesthetics (halothane);
