Cheracol Indications
Cheracol is indicated to temporarily treat coughing and chest congestion symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, or other breathing illnesses (sinusitis, bronchitis).
Cheracol is not indicated for ongoing coughs from smoking, asthma, other long-term breathing problems (emphysema), or for coughs with a lot of mucus.
Cheracol Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Cold/clammy skin;
- Fast/slow/irregular heartbeat;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Slow/shallow breathing;
Cheracol Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction;
- Constipation;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Facial flushing;
- Fast/irregular heartbeat;
- Itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat);
- Lightheadedness;
- Mental/mood changes (confusion hallucinations);
- Nausea;
- Rash;
- Seizure;
- Severe dizziness;
- Slow/shallow breathing;
- Trouble breathing;
- Trouble urinating;
- Vomiting;
Cheracol Drug Reactions
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Anti-seizure drugs (carbamazepine);
- Certain antihistamines (diphenhydramine);
- Cimetidine;
- Medicine for sleep or anxiety (alprazolam diazepam zolpidem);
- Muscle relaxants;
- Narcotic antagonists (naltrexone naloxone);
- Narcotic pain relievers (codeine);
- Psychiatric medicines (chlorpromazine risperidone trazodone);
- Quinidine;
