Bromphen Indications
Bromphen is indicated to treat symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, allergies, hay fever, or other breathing illnesses (sinusitis, bronchitis).
Bromphen Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Seizures;
- Seizures;
- Muscle twitching;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Large pupils;
- Hallucinations;
- Flushing;
- Drowsiness;
- Confusion;
- Agitation;
Bromphen Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Blurred vision;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Dry mouth/nose/throat;
- Easy bruising/bleeding;
- Fast/slow/irregular heartbeat;
- Headache;
- Itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat);
- Mental/mood changes (eg confusion hallucinations);
- Nausea;
- Rash;
- Ringing in the ears;
- Seizure;
- Severe dizziness;
- Shaking (tremors);
- Trouble breathing;
- Trouble urinating;
- Upset stomach;
- Weakness;
Bromphen Drug Reactions
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Anti-seizure drugs (carbamazepine);
- Antispasmodics (atropine belladonna alkaloids);
- Beta blockers (metoprolol atenolol);
- Certain antihistamines (diphenhydramine);
- Certain inhaled anesthetics (halothane);
- Drugs for Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics such as benztropine trihexyphenidyl);
- Furazolidone;
- Guanethidine;
- Isocarboxazid;
- Linezolid;
- MAO inhibitors;
- Medicine for sleep or anxiety (alprazolam diazepam zolpidem);
- Memantine;
- Methyldopa;
- Moclobemide;
- Muscle relaxants;
- Narcotic pain relievers (codeine);
- Phenelzine;
- Procarbazine;
- Psychiatric medicines (chlorpromazine risperidone amitriptyline trazodone);
- Rasagiline;
- Reserpine;
- Scopolamine;
- Selegiline;
- Sibutramine;
- Tranylcypromine;
- Tricyclic antidepressants (eg amitriptyline desipramine);
