Actifed Indications
Actifed is indicated to:
- Allergies;

Actifed Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include:
- Cold/clammy skin;
- Confusion;
- Fast/slow/irregular heartbeat;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Seizures;
- Slow/shallow breathing;
Actifed Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction;
- Blurred vision;
- Chew (sugarless) gum;
- Constipation;
- Dizziness;
- Drink water;
- Drowsiness;
- Dry mouth;
- Dry mouth/nose/throat;
- Headache;
- Itching;
- Nausea;
- Rash;
- Severe dizziness;

Actifed Contraindications
Actifed is contraindicated if you have:
- Use/abuse of drugs/alcohol;
- Urination problems (trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate urinary retention);
- Thyroid problems (hyperthyroidism hypothyroidism);
- Stomach/intestinal problems (ulcers blockage);
- Seizures;
- Mental/mood problems (depression psychosis);
- Liver disease;
- Kidney problems;
- High blood pressure;
- Heart problems;
- Diabetes;
- Certain brain disorders (head injury tumor increased intracranial pressure);
- Breathing problems (asthma emphysema);
- Adrenal gland problem (Addison's disease);
- Abdominal problems (chronic constipation ileus pancreatitis);
- Acertain eye problem (glaucoma);
Actifed Drug Reactions
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Anti-seizure drugs (carbamazepine);
- Beta blockers (metoprolol atenolol);
- Certain antihistamines (diphenhydramine);
- Certain inhaled anesthetics (halothane);
- Cimetidine;
- Furazolidone;
- Guanethidine;
- Isocarboxazid;
- Linezolid;
- MAO inhibitors;
- Medicine for sleep or anxiety (alprazolam diazepam zolpidem);
- Memantine;
- Methyldopa;
- Moclobemide;
- Muscle relaxants;
- Narcotic antagonists (naltrexone naloxone);
- Narcotic pain relievers (codeine);
- Other anticholinergic drugs (benztropine belladonna alkaloids);
- Phenelzine;
- Procarbazine;
- Psychiatric medicines (chlorpromazine risperidone trazodone);
